  hello
  it would be nice to have these features:
  after specifying a regex to replace, to green out the matched text as-you-type the regex
  also to be able to specifiy another regex or multiple and do the replace altogether at once

  I know, 1), 2), 3) are not features, are steps of a procedure
  I rephrased the request to be more clear
